September 17, 2004 — According to a poster on the official 'Serenity' message boards, when asked via e-mail when to expect a trailer for director Joss Whedon's 'Serenity', Universal replied by saying to expect the trailer on January 14th, attached to Jennifer Garner's comic book spin-off 'Elektra'.
