April 5, 2005 — This is one of three alternate covers for Dark Horse Comics' three-part prequel mini-series in anticipation of Joss Whedon's 'Serenity' movie. The comic will bridge the gap between the end of the the cancelled fox television series 'Firefly' and the film from Universal Pictures. This cover art features Malcolm Reynolds by comic artist John Cassaday (Astonishing X-Men).
