**** I'm confused, what is thepoint of cancelling the show in the middle of the season and bringing out a film with exactly the same plot and storyline. I'm gonna have to buy it on dvd so I can skip to where I was at. Well saying that I wouldn't mind watching all those episodes again especially them being all in one contionious film. If this film is half as good as its tv show birth giver I should love it

The TV show is better on DVD (it's been re-editied at points and is shown in the correct order - FOX screwed the show by showing it in incorrect order). However, the film is more acceptable for people who've never seen the show. It's a bit of a retelling but has enough new features to it that will keep it fresh and entertaing for the fans. Certainly one of the years finest movie.
