Man they slaughtered that franchise, the film had some cool ideas but failed at what it needed most. The series however is awsome so don't let the crappy movie turn you off an awsome experience.
Anyway, Peter Chung rules, you can see his work in the Animatrix, and the pitch black animated sequel...
Meh, I really enjoyed this movie. I've never seen the original anime, so I took the movie on face value and I liked it. And it has made me want to see the anime as well. So all in all, good job
