Compared to the original, Supremacy's plot is deeper, more complex, and loaded with intrigue. There are some serious surprises in the film and the level of tension is consistently high. Its only real problems are the attempts taken by the director (Paul Greengrass) to spruce up the film's realism. Still, this sequel is just as good as the original.
