i was looking forward to the stuff from the book to be in the movie and alls they did was keep the characters and throw in some boring action scenes

THE BRIDE: It was not my intention to do this in front of you. For that I'm sorry. But you can take my word for it, your mother had it coming. When you grow up, if you still feel raw about it, I'll be waiting.

And with that apology, statement, and invitation, The Bride walks out the kitchen side door, leaving the little girl to her mourning.

Yeah I know my screen name sucks.

They didn't even keep all the characters, and they changed Marie's last name! In the book she was a Canadian named, Marie St. Jacques. But in the movie she's Marie Kruetz from Turkey or wherever. NO WHERE CLOSE TO BEING AS GOOD AS THE BOOK.

It seems the movie was made for people like me who never read the books. I thought it was cool.

Exactly! I loved the movie! Matt Damen kicked ass! That was my first time seeing a movie of his at the theater and I was surprised by his performance.

I read the books and saw the first movie and the movie was up to date with the times. Plus they have to tell a story in a movie in 2 hours compared with a book where if they put everything from a book into a movie, the movie would last 4 to 6 hours and nobody wants to sit through a movie that is 4 hours long. Also the story is set present day, not when Carlos the Jackal was out being an assassin during the 1960's through 1980's.
