June 19, 2003 — Dark Horizons reports the following:

Ultraviolet: Variety reports that Milla Jovovich will star in this late 21st century-set film about a woman protecting a young boy marked for death at a time when humans and vampires are at civil war. "Equilibrium" writer/director Kurt Wimmer will again do double duty for this when shooting takes place this December in Shanghai and will be Jovovich's first project post "Resident Evil 2". Screen Gems will distribute the project and be aware this has no link with the short-lived vampire-themed British TV series of the same name. Thanks to 'Jack'.
