Do you guys remember that there were ads everywhere of 'Aeon Flux'?TV spots were on TV alot, there was alot of publicity...Sony is doing the same with 'Ultraviolet', and it's possible that this will end up doing bad at the box office as well. I mean the film was supposed to come out in 2004, I'm thinking fans don't want it anymore, or I just don't know. That's what I think.

You know what...I don't believe that Milla is bad enough to be thrown to the wolves and then eaten. I have a strong feeling that her fan base, and the base of those who worship or atleast acknowledge action movies will keep this movie alive. Perhaps if it bombs it'll flourish elsewhere. Films like this are known to find a loving and mass of homes in its second life as a home entertainment video/dvd. Right?

Yeah, and it's because of this fact that I think 'UIltraviolet' is going to do better on DVD than in theaters.

Not from what I'm seeing of people and fan reactions from other websites. People are actually giving this movie a chance.

I agree Senseisnow

OK, that portion of the population amounts to about 10-million dollar weekend, mostly because they'll wait until its pirated or buy the DVD. That's the kind of audience this is. I'm the rare exception. Just curious what all the hype is about. I'm going to it, so I can say I've actually seen one of these films. (Of course I also saw Underworld 2, and thought it was just awful, but that's a bit different.)

I got the results from Boxoffice guru, or more rather the projections for the weekend box office, and they're saying it might just come out with a twelve million debut. That makes me sad, I like boxoffice guru, but I have to disown them for not believing in the movie. Yes, quite. Lol, and I'm glad someone agrees with me.

Well like I've been saying, Dave Chappelles movie and possibly Aquamarine(sp) may take a chunk out of it's take in along with movie that are already out. Those numbers don't really bother me, it's the fan reactions that will make it successful of not.

There is also the other movies that are still in theaters that will also cut into its take this weekend. Sme of them are still going strong.

I'd guess it would come in at about 15 million-- tops.
