Anticipation Level:
How excited (or not) I am to see this movie...
The trailers for this movie are very misleading. They give the impression that this is a very deep movie about what happens when the world is wiped out and there is only one survivor. Then you see the TV spots and you relize that this is no deep drama, but a horror film. So at that point I let my expectations fall. Still, I went to see this movie. Big Mistake. I should have rented something, read a book, gone to bed. Anyhting that was not this sad excuse of a movie. Wait, maybe I'm dissing this movie too fast. There are good elements. The story, as originally portrayed by the misleading trailer, is good. The acting is not outstanding, but there was not a lot that could have been done with what these characters where given. The real, and actually the only bad part of this movie is that it is not scary the way you want it to be. There is no suspense here. The beginnig is the scariest because you don't understand the evil that is being delt with. Once you understand that the infected are not sublte, the movie becomes a sleeper as you wait for the next creature to round the cornor. 28 Days Later is a disappointment
