Well I am glad to see that it at least got nominations in Cinemetography and Score. As it does deserve those two no matter what anyone says, however it got shafted in a few other nominations if you ask me and I am not surprised, Hollywood is full of morons.

I am not surprised it got screwed in the nominations. Hollywood is too afraid of the controversy right now. That's why Passions and Farenheit both got nary a nod.

Some would argue that the story of Jesus is not historically accurate. The point is that both of these films were well received by audiences and critics alike (though they also both had controversy and some bad reviews scattered about). Both films made far more money than was predicted by them, and both films have become a rallying point for different groups. So both films are shunned due to their flamable nature.

Some would.
Hell, I would.

But the point is that both films were very good at achieving their goal. I think both films got robbed.

i do believe of everything that happened in this film

maybe thats why hes famouse...because he stood up against the romans and managed to take suck a beating without dying.

maybe!...then this whole life story was fabricated around it

you have heard a rumour..by the tip it reaches the end of the line..its completly different

Two points I feel are most pertinent are that Hollywood did not like the fact that this movie was made and loved the fact that Fahrenheit was made so I think its a blessing that it got nominated what it did get nominated for and my second poitn if Fahrenheit was not a documentary it was a great essay but not a documentary because it had fabricated truths and ideas not actual facts.
