Just got it. I am a little dissapointed by the lack of extras though. I realize Mel doesn't want to go commercial with it, but a nice doccumentary on the life and teachings of Christ would have been a great complimentary bonus feature.

You don't say.
But there have been many good documentaries done and it would have been nice to offset the brutality of Christ's death with the good feelings of his teachings since that, in my opinion, is what really mattered. They could have had schollars trace where he may have traveled and where those locations translate to today.
