Moving away from all of the argument posts, the DVD just came out. I bought it and watched it. This moving is simply amazing, I can't say enough. Although there are no features or anything on the DVD I am glad I own it, great buy.
I'll probably pick it up over the weekend. Like Braveheart it isn't the kind of movie I can watch over and over due to the brutality, but it is still nice to add to my collection.
The Passion. Is a very good movie. It shows the ugliest and goodness of humanity. It puts the mirror of ourselves to our face. It shows how we can be very brutal to our fellow man. It shows how out of love from one man affect those that come across his path.
Yeah, but it is pretty gross at times. I usually don't like movies like that. They wear me down and I come out of the theater depressed. And depressed isn't the feeling I want when thinking of Jesus. While I do not really believe any of this, I have always found him an amazing person/character.
But as I said, the movie is very good and I plan on buying it. I just don't expect to watch it much. It's not like when friends come over for parties I'll be saying, "Hey, who wants to watch Jesus get whipped?"
