Ok yes this may be weird but i've been popping into Dragonball Movie Blog occasionally to see what Corey Wilson was still thinking of DBE and as always it was non stop optimism but he finally saw it and....wow you just need to see his review:

Warning!!!! Even though I am a fan of the franchise Im still going to give my honest opinion about the movie. So please dont get offended. Remember its my opinion, not yours. Oh yeah, there are major Spoilers!!!!
DRAGONBALL EVOLUTION
The movie that I been waiting years to see has finally arrived in theaters Yesterday!! Was it the excitment that Ive been craving for?
As some of you know, I spent $200 to get a custom made gi just like the one Justin Chatwin has on in the movie. I walked into the theater with it on. UH OH???? Just put it this way, I had a dozen people take pictures of me.
I was prepared for anything to happen!!
Ive received hate mail and threats for liking Dragonball Evolution, but I dont care because watching that movie made it all worth it in the end.
DRAGONBALL EVOLUTION began Beautiful!!
It showed a brief history of KING PICCOLO and The Dragonballs in Outer space. My heart was racing as I saw the Planets soaring and the images of the Saiyan race being told on the big screen with CGI. It was hard to contain my excitment.
After Grandpa Gohan was done telling the story of the Saiyans and Dragonballs, the camera showed Gokus blue eyes.
The camera went into slow motion and it showed Goku sweating. I never seen nothing like that before.
That moment was sooooooooooo freakin EPIC!
I wanted to CRY!!
Everything about that scene felt so good and right, I heard the audience gasping of excitement.
After Goku was done training with grandpa Gohan, he took his bike to school the next day.
I have to admit!! The highschool scenes were real good.
That scene with Goku getting hit by the yellow car was really good. I enjoyed every minute of it. It was way better then the Spiderman highschool scene and I love the spiderman highschool scene. When Carey Fuller hit Goku with his car and walk as if nothing happen. I was totally shocked, because any normal person would be crushed or hurt, but Goku aint your regular person. GOKU got up and he was PISSED!!
Goku said CAREY YOU RECKED MY BIKE.
Carey Fuller walked up to Goku and began to push him.
You could see the fire Burning in Gokus eyes when Carey Fuller pushed him.
I was amazed at every single scene in this movie. I wanted more of it!! I WANTED MOREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
E!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Every scene was good and Epic!! I just wish the scenes was longer. This is the type of movie that should have been 2 hours.
Dragonball Evolution is defiantly the best 85 minute movie I ever seen, but it still felt rushed. We Fans been waiting years to see this movie. I wish they had of made it so much longer, because James Wong capture it very well.
One of the best scenes was Goku doing the Kamehameha. Emmy Rossum was absolutely right when she said that. That scene with him throwing the Kamehameha kind of felt like my first kiss.
It felt sooooo AMAZING!!
When Justin Chatwin screamed KAMEHAMEHA at the end. I knew right at that moment he was ready to become a HERO. Dont get me wrong Goku needs more training before he goes up against Radditz and THE PRINCE OF ALL SAIYANS.
The only person who could give him that kind of training is
KING KAI!!
I liked how Goku acted like a boy in the begining of the movie then he became a man when he started his journey to find the Dragonballs. He later transformed into Oozaru and became a villian. After that he overcame Oozaru and became a HERO.
One thing this movie does that the anime doesnt is describe the Kai and Kamehameha.
Very well done James Wong!
Now lets talk about James Marsters as Piccolo.
I think James Marsters is 100x better then the King Piccolo in the anime. James Marsters brought that role to life. He is defiantly one of the best villians in DB history to me.
Garlic Junior, Buu and Emperor Pilaf wish they had James Marsters Swagger.
James Marsters proved he was ready to go up against the biggest Villians in history.
Of course Freeza, Cell, Vegeta, Nappa, and the Androids are the best villians in Dragonball period, but James Marsters was only in this movie for a short time and he delivered Excellent screen time. There wasnt a moment he didnt give it his all. The King Piccolo in this movie was kind of like a Poet and I hope it stays that way in the sequel. I remember all of his lines.
With this Dragonball, I take my VENGENCE upon the earth..
JAMIE CHUNG as chi chi was Hot and sweet.
She turned me on with that Strawberry scene. Jamie Chung got skills!! Not only is she pretty, but she can kick some butt. Her face looks inocent, but when she fights she shows a deeper side of her. Her chemistry with Goku felt real, it look like they was in love from begining to end. I would like to see Jamie Chung make a big change in the sequel to show her becoming a mother.
OVERALL
James Wong gets a A+ for the story and bringing this adaptation to life, but I would be lying to myself if I give it a 10 out of 10. The 89 minute runtime kind of broke my heart!!
I wanted this movie to last for 2 hours, because it was soooooo GOOD. IT WAS REAL GOOD!!
They should have made the fight scenes much, much longer for the fans.
The fight scene between Goku & King Piccolo should have been longer. Dont get me wrong Dragonball Evolution was action packed from begining to end. Thats something Watchmen failed to do.
Dragonball Evolution is defiantly EPIC from begining to end!!
I give Dragonball Evolution a 9/10
