September 10, 2003 — The Hollywood Reporter reports that Val Kilmer has joined the cast of Alexander, playing Macedonian King Philip - father to Alexander (Colin Farrell). Shooting will begin on November 10th in Morocco, and will wrap in January in Thailand.
