After all the negative buzz I expected crap, what i got was a very good(not great) but very good well made movie, much better than Troy, this movie is way beyond Troy, unlike Troy where the battle scenes got very tiresome quickly and it was obvious everything was computer, but here most the battles actualy were with real people, the armies felt huge, battle with the elephants was good too and the cinematagrophy was great, acting was solid, maybe a few strange accents here or there, all around a good movie....and i must say ms. Dawson has some very..VERY lovely breasts

And now, some passages from Catch-22

It dosn't make a damned bit of difference who wins the war to someone who's dead.

Clevinger had a mind, and Lieutenant Scheiskopf had noticed that people with minds tended to get pretty smart at times.

Racial prejudice is a terrible thing, Yossarian. It really is. It's a terrible thing to
treat a decent, loyal Indian like a ni**er, k*ke, w*p or sp*c.

I'll find more soon...

Thanks for the positive review! I think Alexander deserves better than what its receiving vis-a-vis the negative things about it.

Indeed it does, it was a really well done film.

I'm shocked to see how bad this movie is doing at the box office... I loved it! I can't even compare it to Troy which I found incredibly boring (no offense Troy fans but I've already heard too much bad things about Alexander, it's time to vent). At first the movie felt like any other but then it became something I'd never seen before... something between a romantic/drama and a suspensful/thriller... I loved the ending and most in between... you just have to be open minded that it might not be THAT historically accurate but as a MOVIE I think it's better than most...

Indeed, cinematagrophy was amazing, one of my favorite shots was in India when everything just went all red.

That's exactly what I was talking about!!! That scene was really impressive... everything in slo-mo and suddenly everything in really bright colors... that scene alone is enough to make me want to see that movie again (which I might do today... since it comes out here in Mexico, and it's 50% cheaper to go to the movies here).

The Critics didn't like becase , there was to much gay stuff in the movie . For this movie I would give it a C+ . I didn't really liked it , King Aruther was way better than Alexander and Troy but togeather .

The only thing about the movie was The Score of Alexander and I might buy the album , not becase I liked the movie but becase the Music was wonderfull .

Acting : B
Directing : A
Story : C

Overall : C+

For those who are under 16 , the film will countain disterbing images and sounds , Nudity and Colin Farrel kissing a man .

I thought it was entertaining, but forgettable, despite all the big stars in it.

Alexander must have been smart or clever, there was very little of that brilliance or leadership or organization.

He was shown as brave, yup, but otherwise, kinda whiny
