Well I could attack/insult you, but honestly, that would be way to easy, so instead, even though it's pointless to do so, I'll answer your questions. "blue guy" is naked the whole time because he is so powerful that he's completely disconnected from the human race, he percieves things at a level too complex for normal humans to comprehend, he's basically a god, and therefore feels no need to induldge in human customs, such as wearing clothes. The "glass thing" was created by "blue guy", one of his powers is to re-arrange matter, allowing him to turn the sand on mars into a glass castle. Blue guy couldn't prevent nuclear war because while he could arguably just turn the bomb into a snow flake if he wanted to, he'd have to be able to look into the future too see when the bomb was going to hit, something he couldn't do due to that aspect of his powers being blocked, this the bomb would hit before he could do anything about it. Nixon is president for so long because in the paranoid climate of the cold war, the term limit was done away with, allowing him to run as many to we as he wanted, and with his campaign playing up peoples fear of communists, he just created lies that his opponents were communists, won every time he ran. And this movie takes place primarily in 1985, with various flashbacks taking place during the late 40s, the 50s, 60s, and 70s.
There's nothing wrong with being confused by watchmen, it's a complex movie, but just because you're confused, that doesn't mean that the movie "sucks", nor does your confusion give you the right to attack other people on this board.
