MovieHole reports:
The Gossip Monkey here.....again. Yep, like Devon on her day off, I've come twice in one day.
Anyway, bit of goss from the FOX lot here. You may have heard the whispers of a "24" movie, featuring king party Kiefer Sutherland? Hearing it could be a done deal.
Kiefer has inked a 3 movie deal for a series of '24' movies at Fox. Yep, three. Chances are, you'll see the first one going before-the-cameras as early as '07.
Apparently Bruce 'Respect Yourself' Willis has even mentioned to Kief that he'd be keen to cameo in one of the films. Big fan of the prime-time hit apparently.
I dunno whether he'd be appearing as John McClane or just some no-name CTU agent or big bad rogue, but the point beckons... wasn't '24' pitched as a 'Die Hard' TV show in the first place?
Ironically, my LA-cum Sherman Oaks spies inform me that a Brit filmmaker is working on an "undisclosed franchise themed show" and met Bruce 'King B' Willis in Paris last year to
discuss various elements. Could be a good move.
Anyway....back to that "24 movie".....Well, with 'Die Hard 4.0' up in the air, a '24' movie is the way to go. We'll be Monkeying about town to find out further details.
