May 11, 2002 — Jennifer Love Hewitt was on Rosie O'Donnell's show this morning. They talked briefly
about Tuxedo and showed a clip.
Rosie: So you're in a new movie?
JLH - It's a movie with Jackie Chan, an action movie, and I play a
character who has a little anger management problem. The clip is the
first big fight scene up on the silo.
R - Did you do all the stunts and fights?
JLH - I did a bunch of it, Jackie sort of trained me during the
movie. He's hysterical, you can't understand anything he says during
the day at all, so you go back to your trailer and four hours later,
you get what he said and crack up laughing and say "Jackie, that was
so funny" and he's, like, "what took you so long" and I'm, like, "I
don't know, I was out of it."
(She said all of this in a humorous,
good natured manner. She seems to genuinely like Jackie but that's
one thing that is pretty consistent, all of his co-stars always talk
very highly of him and he seems to get along with just about
everyone.)
The clip was of a fight scene on top of a silo, lots of action and
humor, although Jackie was more hit than hitting and wound up
dangling over the side of the silo.
