Claire Forlani Compares Hollywood to Hong Kong Style Film Making

SUBMITTED BY LClem

August 16, 2003 — Claire Forlani talks about what it was like to work the way Hong Kongh film makers do. "It was the first one with an hour lunch break as well. The funny part was, I had a nice, air-conditioned trailer, but I soon found myself living Jackie's life, staying on set all the time," notes the actress. "The set was like an old-school vaudeville hall, with people practicing their stunts and bits all around." She says she took to the action stuff pretty quickly, even a sequence that required her to work six stories up. "And in Asia, all you have is a bunch of guys holding your wire, no machines or anything," says Claire."
