I work w/ Universal Casting Co. and I was hired to work on the set of Garfield at Universal City about a week ago. On Stage 12 they were shooting Garfield. I was an Extra in a movie called Raising Helen But we were on Stage 13. At lunch i was able to take a look at the set along w/ a few other people. There is the typical garfield house like in the show(It looks GREAT!-Just like it) and the allyway Garfields friends hang out in. In a way every thing was Big and fat. Kind of like the Grinch, nothing looked normal. It wasn't all Curly and stuff just big and large. I guess the Garfield is computer generated because all the costumes were like for that main guy. I don't know his name but he always wears a sweater vest and he has curly hair. I didn't see everthing because we were shooded out after about 7 inutes. I'm going back in two weeks and if i see anything ill get back to you very soon
