So what do you guys think? Personally, I don't think it's that bad since they are going with a more realistic feel. You can see the very traditional characteristics, like the big eyes and ears complete with the 3 hairs on each side. Overall, I like it, but I'll have to see how much it grows on me.

I think that so far (its only a face) they did good. I'm sure that he'll look as good as the cartoon. I just want to see what Odie will look like.

Reminds of that time when the video game character, Donkey Kong becomes CGI in Donkey Kong Country. Garfield is going through the same steps as that.

I've been reading Garfield for most of my life, I just love the Anniversary books with all of his comics strips in them, I used to read those in elementry school ALL the time with my best friend during library session.

Looking forward to this movie, but whose that guy playing Jon??

That's Breckin Meyer, he's played Travis (the stoner-skater) in Clueless and was the kid who was played like a video game by Freddy Krueger in the 6th Nightmare movie.

I think it looks ok, I just really wonder whether there was a need for this movie, if it's good, awesome, if it's not then it could damage Garfield TV and comic image a little
