| the movie ended like a chick flick. the visual effects in the last scene where the army bazookas one of 'em down was pretty cool, BUT YOU NEEDED A WHOLE LOT MORE OF THAT, kinda like how it happened in Independence Day. Once the weakness was exposed, it showed the humans shooting down the alien ships all over the world. Because Spielburg FORGOT to do that, his rendition sucked. In the middle of the film, the newscaster lady ran a video tape of FLEETS of these machines, yet for some retarded reason, there's only one last machine being shot down? It doesn't sit well with me. Had Speilburg shown a fleet of these machines being bazookad/torpedoed down, he could've redeemed himself. But if you're going to only show one alien machine being shot down, atleast don't make 'em a sitting duck. Atleast have the machine go out with a bang by killing more humans while it is simultaneously being destroyed. And if he had shown armies shooting down these machines all over the world, IT WOULD NOT TAKE CREDIT AWAY FROM IT BEING MOTHER NATURE'S VICTORY. It needed to be more Hollywoodized. Here's another something stupid. If these machines are vaporizing people, why do you see unvaporized bodies floating down Dakota Fanning's pissing river?????? And don't feed me some bs excuse that those were the bodies that had their blood sucked out. I want a real explanation. |
