| How excited (or not) I am to see this movie... |

| War of the Worlds ROCKS. It's very entertaining all the way through. I haft to say Steven Spealburg did a fantastic job, the movie doesn't slow down at all. I've seen the old one and remember very little but i do know they changed alittle. Tom Cruise even though i don't really like him did a prutty good job acting wise (he screwed up on opera). The only thing i didn't really like about the movie was that little Girl. Her annoying scream really was makeing me mad. grrrr. but anyways it's good to see steven make an evil alien movie after all his soft-harted alien movies E.T., CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF THE THIRD KIND. War of the Worlds beats those two kiddie movies. The thing i liked most about War was the giant squid like machines those were really cool the aliens on the otherhand were like a rip off of Independance Day nothing really oringinal about them. I may buy this movie when it comes out on DVD, alot of movies in the theator right now are great i mean Land of the Dead, Batman Begins, High tension and the upcoming Fantastic four; what a great year it is for movies. War of the Worlds is so far the best thing in the theator i know it will do good because i went to a big theator at the 9:45 p.m. and it was packed i had to sit next to people. |
