Ive bought the DVD. I watched it twice at the cinema, & have watched in once on DVD.

I have an addiction to the start sequence when the Tripod emerges out of the ground. That is an awesome scene & I love the music with it. Ill be watching that scene a few more times for Sho0!!

I saw it 6 times in the theatre and I won a contest at www.spielbergfilms.com so im getting mailed a 2 disc DVD, 2 shirts, and 2 one-sheet posters. This is my favorite movie, of all time!

i won that for sending a paragraph predicting what might happen after the invasion. Pretty much what happens after "War of the Worlds" So i took my time and wrote a decent paragraph. Im guessing that makes me a good writer. haha

Must have watched the DVD 12 times lol, seen it in Cinema 3 times so overall 15 times (WOW that is a lot lol, first time I gues)
Awesome movie used to be my favourite, but now King Kong - spetacular lol. Seen it twice. Might see it again lol

I4ve seen it once in the cinema and once on DVD. I4ve also seen the 1954 war of the world at least 15 time, listened to the radio version by orsen well about 8 times and also listened to the musical version about 8 times. i must say i prefer the 1954 version to the new one but hey thats just me. the film was ok and the tripods are very cool, but i didn`t think much of the changes to the story. in the book, 1954 verion, radio and musical the tripods came from mars, and in this version you have no idea where they came from, plus the fact that hi son survived is just so lame.

2 times and thats all for me!!! i seriously did not like the movie, dakota was sooooo annoying, although the effects were awsome. The reason i didnt like it was that there was no major war in it to show, like the scene with the hill, and all that explosion is happening in the back, i so wanted to see that.I really didnt like it, but oh well, spielberg is still the man.
