There was a rather disturbing rumor floating around a while back that Disney had decided to rename the upcoming TRON sequel TRZ, as opposed to the TR2N that they had revealed at this year's Comic Con. Who knows if there's any truth to that rumor because why would they go from not bad to ridiculously bad, especially if John Lasseter and/or Pixar is involved, but now a much more plausible rumor has hit the internets. According to the folks at "AICN", the flick will be shot entirely in 3D, which makes sense really considering it's a movie about being trapped inside a video game and it'll no doubt have groundbreaking graphics. Plus, it'll just look about a thousand times cooler in 3D. Does that mean it'll now be named TR2N 3D or TRZ 3D? That's a lotta Web 2.0-ness.
