Anticipation Level:
How excited (or not) I am to see this movie...
I have to say if "The Beginning" is any where near what the real original exorcist ("The version you never seen") was and is, then we have a true classic horror movie to look forward too, I myself have been anticipating the release of this movie since I first saw the original DVD.. In the true original exorcist, you find a lot of hints or nudges that this beginning was coming, for instance just an example, when Father Lankester & Father Damien were on the stairs talking, also if you listen to the director commentary about the original scenes added back, and why it took so long to come out with the original without the editing and cutting, you well see that there were plans to come out with this movie way back when, just like another old classic saga like Episode I (Star Wars)... Sometimes sequels, can out do the originals, sometimes going back can be a very good thing, and it sounds like for "The Beginning" it's just that.. I for one loved the original version (The version you never seen") and I know a lot of fans who agree, and I have high hopes for "The Beginning", and sure I won't be disappointed...
