Exorcist: The Beginning “Rubbish” — peter_haase13 [More reviews by this user] Anticipation Level: How excited (or not) I am to see this movie... Lets hope there's vommiting... Movie Review: My thoughts on this movie... Well there's a possessed girl (well woman) who screeches and says the naughthy "F" word, which is a complete cash-in on the first-one...oh well. Problem is these days this sort of thing is as common as a cold. In the 70's the original had the raw power to shock. However this is horror mumbo jumbo at its finest...minus the horror. A baby covered in maggots did serve as mild comic relief. I'm so glad Renny Harlin was brought in to tone down Paul Schraders blood-bath version. Wait a minute...
