Earlier this week, a story went around the web that a remake of the Exorcist is in the works at Warner Bros., with Focus Features Rogue Pictures division also involved. Now a source at Rogue has told Fangoria that they've heard absolutely nothing about the company being involved in such a project. In addition, a first-draft script was said to have been recently completed by Jim (Anaconda) Cash who, a few readers have pointed out to us, died nearly five years ago. In these remake-happy times, an Exorcist redux is certainly still a possibility, but we'll wait for confirmed news before reporting further on this one.
