Just when I thought the whole "VS" thread fad was finally winding down, this one appears. Good match-up, though.
I have not yet seen Chronicles of Riddick so I really don't know the full extent of his butt-kicking ability. He was pretty lethal in Pitch Black. The Predator has a lot more history to it, and Riddick is a relatively new character, so some might think it is disrespectful and wrong to say that Riddick would beat a Predator. But in retrospect -- A predator DID get his ass handed to him by old, flabby Danny Glover, so yeah, I think if a scrawny old guy could beat a Pred, then Riddick would definitely destroy one!

A Predator. A rather inexperienced one at that, don't you think? We'll just have to wait until AVP comes out and see how those Predators do against the Aliens.
come on, it's hollywood, of course a predator will have his ass handed to him by danny glover, especially when the pred's previous victims (which he killed in seconds without breaking a sweat) were all tougher than glover. Yep, typical hollywood. Nothing makes sense at all. Danny Glover DID have to avenge danny's death (danny in the movie i mean, his friend cop).
... so it sorta was meant to be. But remember how the pred took 4 shotgun blasts like that! All in different places on the chest, too...
I think ruling predators out would be a mistake. Trained hunters/warriors are probably pretty viscious fighters, especially going up against something as tough as Riddick. Hunting is probably pretty different from fighting for predators. Remember, all the predators were really doing was hunting the humans in the first 2 movies. the pred in pred2 was prolly taken aback by glover's strength at the end of the film.. I mean the pred obviously thought danny glover was down and was just gonna finish him off...it was mistaken, so it's possible that it was just taken by surprise. ... I'm just trying to give the Predator a chance here, that's all.
However, I still say Riddick wins. He is the ULTIMATE badass!! Vin Diesel kicks ***!! |

Well, to re-phrase, I think that a Predator would have a chance against Riddick, but the smart money is still on Riddick!!!
