If any of you own an XBOX, go buy or rent this game right now. It takes place beofre the events of Pitch Black. It has the best graphics Ive ever seen on ANY system. It is loads of fun and it will kick your ass. Get it.

actualy iv seen better graphics

"starts off b4 pitch black" thats what i though cuz when i tried the demo their was no night vision so i assumed he was still in the cell...i wonder if in the game you will go to the "pitch black" world and do all that before heading to the chronicals of riddick...that would be AWESOME

I bought Butcher Bay today along with the new release of Pitch Black.

I haven't had a chance to play to much, but will get into it tomorrow when I have more time and less interruptions. The graphics look gorgeous to me.

I lent a friend my old Pitch Black DVD, they moved and took it. Gave me a reason to buy the new release. Lots' of goodies! I love extras.

yeah sry about my coment about the video quality, i was going on all systems pc included. it actualy has close to doom 3 quality, and the body movements where outstounding! i beat mine last night and i wasn't disapointed. i realy hope that they make one of pitch black and CoR!
the only thing i didn't like about it was that the controls on when you want to pick up an item where funky, at one point near the end of the game you turn a wheel which makes a ladder come down...but you can't get on the ladder. when you press your "use" button it just goes and turns the wheel again and puts up the ladder... thank god that it wasn't mandatory to get the ladder!

but other than that the game was awesome! defenatly recomended

i hope they make another one based on PB and CoR

iv actualy always thought PB would make an awesome game, even b4 CoR started filming. think about it running around in the dark with these terrible sounds around you and attacking you trying to get to a shuttle. it would be FREAKY AS HE!! lol

what are you talking about? you can go 3rd person, and 1st person is better anyway cuz you see what he sees not your body. and movments in 3rd person are harder to control. also STOP TRIPPLE POSTING when you click submit it will always send it, if your not sure then copy your text and submit, if it didn't work then past it and try again

Butcher Bay was made the only way possible. It would have killed the fighting style of Riddick. The critical hits and other special moves wouldn't have been as awesome if not in 1st person. Imagine how cheap it would be to see Riddick put a guard's own gun to his head and shoot it off. In your face action is what the game is about. Also, the fun with guns is aiming them. 3rd person shooters usually have a "lock-on" button. Very icky. Though there would be more eye candy in 3rd person, 1st person was the ideal choice.
