Should do a Trilogy and Start from the begining!

Looks to me like they're diving feet first in Duke Nukem 3D.

A generic verson at that.

Do we need another bad Game-Movie?

Why are comic book movies handled with more respect for the soarce?

The first Duke Movie should be based on the 1991 game.

Duke Nukem
Shrapnel City:

In the near future Doctor Proton and his army of Techbots have taken control of Earth's largest city. Once a respected genius and scientist, Dr. Proton (he changed his name from Blunderwitz early in his career) decided he could rule Earth with a new world order. After a terrible radiation accident that altered his brain, Dr. Proton took to the underworld and developed an army of advanced robots -- called Techbots. The Techbots are extremely dangerous, and guard Dr. Proton's secret hideout. Every attempt by the military to overcome Dr. Proton ended in disaster. It seems Dr. Proton's plan to rule Earth is well underway...

Self-proclaimed hero Duke Nukum is Earth's final chance. Hired by the CIA, Duke has orders to stop Dr. Proton and rid the world of this latest madman. Armed only with his pistol and his can-do attitude, Duke is the one person who might stand a chance of success. Duke chases Dr. Proton and his army of Robots from the seized city to his secret Lunar Base.

Duke Nukem II
The evil Rigelatin plan to enslave earth, and they kidnap none other than Duke Nukem (who was performing in an interview about his new autobiography;"Why I'm So Great"), to use his brain to plot the attack for their forces. Turning Duke into a midless zombie in an endless lifetime of suffering. Duke breaks free to save the world, again.

Duke eventually Destroys the Alien spaceship and hitches a ride home. This would end with the start of Duke 3D. I which Duke Finds himself in a raveged L.A being invaded by a whole different race of Aliens.

Duke Nukem: Total Meltdown
Think we all know the plot here, pig cops and Alien invaders steeling earths women.

Maybe throw in a lil of Duke Nukem Forever..if it's finnished by then.

and then we can even go on.
Duke Nukem 4
Based on those Time Travel sequals Zero Hour, Time to Kill and Land of the babes. With aliens trying to change earths past and Duke Traveling to the wild west, the dark ages, victorian London e.t.c

These films sound a bit cheesy...yea that's the whole point. Films like Evil Dead, They Live, Commando etc where fun to watch. It's a homage to these Sci-Fi B-Movies and big action pictures.

and If Hollywood can't find a director that will respect the source and do the film justice they can come get me.

I dont think they should focus on a triglogly straight away they need to make the first movie a sucsess and then focaus on a sequel and make it kick ass but defently base the first game on Meltdown to introduce the chracters and every thing and then either mix the other two together or maybe do a triglogy.
I can just see the first movie with Duke running for his life on the amarican football field going for it on the final boss I think Duke Nukem has its own big badass scenes that they could bring to the screen like that one.
You are right these games were made to be a homage to sc-fi b movies so there kinda micky takes on them but they made there own story and made them exstreamly enjoyable.
I would love for them to make more but I'd rather them get the tone right for the film first and then go from there and it be a big sucsses at the same time because if its done right Duke will be kicking ass and chewing bubble gum and he's all outa gum.

I get what your saying but I'd hate them to do a Bastardised version of Duke 3D and then go off on there own sequals. God I can already imagine them making the pigs the aliens instead of mutants. I guess to cash in on the market people will want to See Duke 3D first. But to me thats kinda like saying they should have done Spiderman Vs. Venom first and not bother showing how he got his powers etc.

I gues what would be cool is if the did Duke Nukem: Total Meltodown and then did the two prequals. Althoe that would kind of make the surprise ending of Duke Nukem II a bit weak.

I just hope they make it soon, I'm becoming really impatient and we need an action hero on screen again that can make people laugh and and kick ass at the same time.
This film feels long overdue dont you think?

Yea not seen what I'd call a REAL Action movie for a while, just need to re-watch My Arnie n Stallone DvDs lol
