| In a word... Duff. Garish, predictable and plays the slapstick insanity card waaaaaaay to often. Steve Martin's awful french accent feels really forced, Kevin Klein ain't been funny since A Fish Called Wanda, and anyone who knows whats good for them makes a rule out of NOT TRYING TO REMAKE SELLERS! Sadly, this ain't the first dreadful remake or shall it be the last... the movie market is getting choked with pap like Aeon Flux (a much better cartoon) and that... "Thing" which resembles John Carpenter's "The Fog" which is infesting cinemas just now. It is time to abandon the remake and the animation conversion for now and concentrate on producing decent films with the audience in mind... and I don't mean "how much cash can we extract from these suckers".
