Does anyone else here feel insulted by the other Movie board "Harry Trotter: Lord of the Balls"? It's suppose to be this movie about "The good wizard Gandolfini goes up against the evil wizard Enron. Henry Bates, the rightful king of the land of Middlefinger, goes on a quest." Kind of like a parody of Harry Potter & Lord of the Rings movies.
I think it is because it seems like they're making fun of Harry Potter & Lord of the Rings.
What's your opinion?

Naw, I'm not insulted. It just sounds like somebody picked up Bored of the Rings and the Barry Trotter books and thought it would be a good idea to combine the two ideas to try to make this film appeal as many people as possible. As lets face it, that film is going to be complete and utter balls and hardly anyone is going to see it anyway.

The difference with this and Scary Movie, IS the fact that Scary Movie is a spoof of horror movies. When should you ever take your child to see a Horror movie? I sure wouldn't. Youd give your child nighmares and surely I wouldn't want them to see skin like this movie is likely to have. So there is no real problem there with makin a spoof.

The similar thing with this and Harry Potter, IS that is a spoof of the "children" book series not to mention the title is similar only its has Balls and such in it.

I just find it horrible to do something like this with something children like. It seems so incredably stupid. And no its not because I like Harry Potter. Once again, its just the fact that they are using the idea from Harry Potter (that children like) and turning it into an adult type movie and again I find that sick.

Well I think it's funny and so do the executives of the MGM. Hey oh if your kid heard the word balls, the world wouldn't end and they wont start cussing. It's funny, not stupid, and alot of people will go see it, I know that.

Ps: Alot of kids see horror movies and don't get nightmares, the day of kids having nightmares over horror movies are over.

It Will Be Funny, It Will Make Good Money, Their Probably Will Be A Sequel, And Teens And Older Adults Will Love It.
