Potter up for visual effects, sound editing Oscars

January 9, 2003 — Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets is one of five films to be shortlisted for both visual effects and sound editing Oscars. Following a "bake-off" on February 4, three films will be nominated in each category. Nominations will be announced on February 11.
