| My thoughts on this movie... |

| Despite what everyone says I really liked this movie. Sure it didn't have the best plot ever but what do you expect? Do James Bond or Indiana Jones have deep, tear jerking plots, no they all just follow the standard action movie plot, someone's going to end the world, let's stop them. At least Tomb Raider didn't have any of the giant glaring plotholes found in Terminator 3 (go read my review for full detail). And frankly I am tired of all the car chases in James Bond movies, do they ever really change? The latest Tomb Raider movie is a refreshing change from the usual, some of the stunts, like the upside down repelling are simply amazing, especially when you consider the fact that Angelina actually did it herself. She is an amazing actress (just watch Gia) and I feel that she has set a new bench mark for what a lead in an action movie should accomplish. This movie is very entertaining, action packed, plus it has Angelina Jolie? What more could you want? I've already seen this movie twice and I plan on going again, keep it coming Angie! |
