October 4, 2001 — That's right, I said 4...and I don't mean the CGI version. Dark Horizons has posted a report where David Kane did a UK fanzine interview with comic creator Brendon McCarthy and he had this to say about the shelled amphibians.

"I was able to find out that he has just finished work designing a look for a new live-action "NINJA TURTLES" movie, planned for release even if there is a John Woo CGI feature! He said that he had also written the storyline with his original collaborator on the first Turtle movie, the director Steve Barron. He wouldn't say anything about the movie's plot, but suggested that it was a fairly "adult" treatment of the characters.
