Steve Murphy has posted a message on his Blog saying the following:

"As of two weeks ago Imagi Entertainment (the TMNT movie animation studio) informed Mirage Studios that there was a 50-50 chance of a CGI film sequel. Last week they upped the odds to 70-30 in favor of a sequel, as talks between Imagi and their distribution partners Warner Brothers and the Weinstein Group seem to be heading in a positive direction..."

I wonder if it will be aimed towards 5 year olds instead of 10.

I heard they were sticking with the ten year-olds.

I have no doubt about it. Fisher Price will pick up the the contract to make the toys.

I think this is extremely good news. TMNT wasn't anywhere NEAR as stupid as it could have been. Assuming they can get the next one to have a story that's just as good, I'm all in for the next sequel. Bring it on!

Great. They should make 2 more. I'm shocked that TMNT didn't make $200M but hopefully the second will fair better. I know i'll be in the minority of people who think that since the 4th made so little that they should now make the turtles use there weapons. Haven't seen tmnt but read before it came out that mikey couldn't hit anyone with his, ninchucks? (I think thats how you spell it). If they won't kill some humans give them some somewhat mindless beast to rip apart. If not that, some machines. Maybe some mousers. I know mousers are probably lame to many fans by now but I still like them.

Yea, they gave Michelangelo a grappling hook in place of his nunchaku, because they were deemed too "violent." That's the old 80's show though. He uses 'em all the time in the '03 series.

Another movie would be nice, but I'm more interested in seeing what they may have planned for the animated series after they finish with Fast Forward.

Even though I hated it at first I still watch fast forward from time to time. I keep thinking that fast forward is going to revert back to the old TMNT, in our time. That's seems like the direction they're gonna go.

Hopefully. It took me some to warm up to Fast Forward, but now I see it isn't so bad.

That Sh'Okanabo character had potential. I understand they wanted to make FF more kid-friendly, but I felt they could've done better with him. I guess perhaps he was outta place. Either way, I'd like to see more of Sh'Okanabo.
