Some of you out there have been waiting for many years to see what the creators of The Blair Witch Project would do next, so I hope if you're one of them that you're sitting down right now...

Over on Haxan Films' official site, Eduardo Sanchez has put up a press release that their next film is finally in the works. It's called Probed, and as of right now the only things they're revealing about it is that it's a horror film and that it has a monster in it. Oh, and that it won't be shot by the actors.
Newcomer Jamie Nash, who apparently lives about 40 mintues away from Sanchez in Maryland, penned the script. Ironic, since they've scoured the country looking for a new project and it was right under their noses the whole time.
Sanchez will direct with Blair Witch producers Gregg Hale and Rob Cowie producing. Shooting is expected to start in May over at Universal, which leads to some interesting questions about their financing. Check out the entire press release right here!
