If the Blair Witch Project sucked, then why did it get all those freaking good reviews!?

Go ahead, read the reviews!

So maybe you guys hate the first one because you don't have good taste in horror movies. Sorry if there wasn't a dumb killer with a knife chasing them for an 1hr and half.

BTW, if you guys hate the movies, why do you even come to the Board? Oh, just to trash it? Oh god, GROW UP!!!

The reason people hated the movie was because the actors in the movie ran around like a bunch of pansies for 1hr. and a half. Nothing happened in the movie that was remotely interesting. Plus the acting was annoying and atrocious. Watching darkness for 10 min. and hearing screams is kind of boring to me. I din't like it and don't get me started on the second one. OMG!!!!!!

The movie was genious because it left everything to the imagination. They didn't just stuffed the witch in front of your face. That's the reason is such a scary and eerie movie.

I guess a movie like that is only good if you go in there and intend to believe it, or at least give it a chance. You're only going to think it's scary if you feel scared when you watch it. Some peoples imaginations are better at making them feel scared then having something done on screen for them.
As for the people who come here who don't like it, they're probably looking for attention

Yeah there is seriously no point in trashing blair witch in this forum, unless your going to do it constructively. The problem with blair witch is, it's different. People seem to have a problem with a movie in a particular genre being different then other movies in that genre. However, blair witch 2 really did suck. There wasnt really anything positive about that flick cept that it gave us a little more info on the blair witch.

Blair Witch was so steaped in suckage, everyone associated with the film should have been deported.

Horrible, horrible film. And the second was even worse. No, seriously, they actually managed to top the first films suckage quotent.

And if they are considering making a 3rd film, I can only say....HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

Mark my words, this film will make no more than $40 Million. Now that may be fine for the producers since the original film only cost $10,000 to make. So if it makes $40 mil it will be profitable. It will suck, but it will be profitable.

It is like Charlie's Angles. The 2 films sucked but were profitable, so expect a 3rd.

The first movie was ok, wouldv'e been alot better if there was more gore, but the second one went beyond sucking, it was an insult to horror films and horror film fans. Hopefully the third ones better and scarier.

The problem with people who didn't like the first movie is that they do not have the imagination to enjoy such a marque movie like this. It's a great idea. Everyone and their brother are completely spoiled by special effects ( And bad ones at that). This movie wasn't the most successfull independent movie for nothing.

Now onto the second movie: This could possibly be the worst movie ever made. They should never make a sequal to this. EVER. Halfway through the movie was was ready to hang myself and the entire 3 rows just to end the pain and give them a real horror movie.
