From Justin to Kelly “shoot me” — monsieurjohn [More reviews by this user] Anticipation Level: How excited (or not) I am to see this movie... reality TV has spun out of control like a psychotic carnival ride... i'm ashamed to say i watched the first survivor, the one that started it all... and now look what they've created. the american idol idea wasn't horrible to begin with, but the people! ack! and ok, so one of them won, one of them lost, big deal. we never have to see them, their irritating fake smiles, and their incredibly bad hair ever again..... right? NO! they're making a movie. i know people who *liked* "american idol" who shudder at the thought of this movie. these are the people who couldn't be convincingly genuine on a show where they were supposed to be themselves, and we're supposed to accept them in a movie with a fabricated, extremely thin plot? no thanks. I won't even mention that the title doesn't even make sense.. oops, i just did. if there's a market for this movie, I haven't met any of its constituents - and I really hope I don't.
