Creature Corner reports news on the up and coming "Creeper" Sequel and it's $16 Million (which is a mondo step from the first "Creeper") dollar budget.

Zoetrope (Francis Ford Coppola’s production company) worked out a five-picture deal a while back "with each of their planned films involved budgeted at roughly $8 million a piece". Now, ‘Jeepers Creepers 2’ is part of said deal "but it’ll take up two slots of the 5 pic deal" which in other words means it'll get a $16 million dollar budget which is nearly double that of the first film. This may give the film the chance for some more explosive action which the first film missed out on due to budget restrictions (the original ending involved a speeding train action sequence).
