I saw Jeepers Creepers at Frightfest in London on Monday August 27th this year and it rocks!
I really wasn't expecting much from this movie as it looked kinda cheesy judging from the articles and photographs in Fangoria, but it was really fantastic.
We really get to know the two characters Darryl and Trish over the course of their road journey, and by the end you can't help but feel terrified for them. The titular Creeper is kept in the dark and we only really get a good look at him/it in the final frames of the film.
This film is so atmospheric and suspenseful and I urge you all to go see what I consider to be the best horror flick since the original Halloween.

What is wrong with you? I previously believed Jason X to be the gayest horror movie ever made, and then I saw this movie. I'm so glad I didn't waste my money to see it when it was new, (it was on one of the 5 million digital cable channels my sister's got). It was sufficiently scary to give my 6 year old niece nightmares, (she woke me up in the middle of the night crying), but that's about it. And, no, we didn't let her watch it, she got up and snuck out into the hallway without anyone knowing. Anyway, this movie sucked beyond belief and I can't believe they're making a sequel. Did anyone not know how it was going to end? C'mon....
Well, it cleared 100 million dollars and the SEQUEL made that much in the first weekend. Jeepers Creepers 3 is planned for release in the Summer of 2006.
