Stars show up for "Cheaper" premiere

December 16, 2003 — Lots of celebs turned out for the Sunday night premiere of "Cheaper by the Dozen" at Grauman's Chinese Theatre, including Steve Martin, Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher.

The Grauman's Chinese Theatre courtyard resembled a casting call from hell Sunday evening as a dozen stage moms promoted their precious "stars of tomorrow" at the premiere of the family comedy Cheaper by the Dozen. But it was the arrival of Demi Moore and her four little jewels -- Tallulah, 9; Scout, 12; Rumer, 15; and Ashton Kutcher, 25 -- that got this party hoppin'.

In a replay of June's Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle premiere, the sight of 41-year-old Moore on the arm of her Punk'd plaything (this time minus Moore's ex, Bruce Willis) managed to steal the spotlight from the film's stars.

"All this madness is beyond my control," rationalized the film's director, Shawn Levy. "If it helps, great; if it hurts, OK. The thing about my friend Ashton is that he does what he wants."

Levy persuaded pal Kutcher to take an uncredited part in the film as a vain model/actor after their successful collaboration on Just Married.
