Red Dragon “horrible!” — PantherX20 [More reviews by this user] Anticipation Level: How excited (or not) I am to see this movie... stale remake of the wonderful Manhunter. this plots been used so many times now that its just so stale,boring and horrible now. Manhunter was such a smart movie. Red Dragon feels dumbed down for the audience,like when their suppost to be forensic scientists,they dont even use big words. the writters probably thought the people in the audience would be too stupid to understand them if they used big words.Ralph Fiennes was so boring as Dollarhyde. Tom Noonan was so interesting.Ed Norton just plane sucked as Grahem.the rest of the cast sucked too. their wasnt much color in this movie either. made it seem boring.brian cox as lecter was way better in this particular plot. im not saying hes better than hopkins,i just thought cox was better in this particular story.bottomline:See Manhunter instead!!!!!!
