April 13, 2002 — 'Anonymous' tells us the following:

I'm not sure if this is already well known, but it appears that Dante Spinotti is the cinematographer for Red Dragon. Spinotti worked with Michael Mann on 'Manhunter' as Director of Photography. Supposedly Red Dragon "has a completely different look [to Manhunter] (darker and more Gothic)..." This comes from Stephen Pizzello of American Cinematographer Magazine.
