February 2, 2003 — Apparently, there is a scene in Shanghai Knights, where Fann Wong's character has to slap Jackie Chan. She told Channel News Asia:
"It's very pressuring to slap a big star not just in Asia but all over the world. I'm very, very nervous about it in the morning. The floor manager, he can sense my nervousness, he walked up to me and suddenly told me, "Just slap him, it's ok. We'll support you all the way," she said.
To make matters worse, the first slap wasn't a perfect take, so Fann had to slap Jackie a few more times.
"It's not very easy working with him...He's very very hard on me. He train me hard, even on the set he'll say "Do it better, do it better".
