Question of the day: Who would win in a fight between Jackie Chan and Jet Li?

No rope-fighting to make Jet Li fight better, no wepons to make Jackie fight better. Mano-A-Mano.

This question always pops up in a heated martial art debate so i am curious to hear your opinions. (no Bruce Lee would kick both their a**es...I already know he would win.)

Reply back with you choice for a winner.

Mine: I like Jet, But Jackie would win.

If you like Jet, you are at wrong place. And I don't think that Bruce Lee would win, Jackie always win against everyone. I really bored of this "Who would win? " questions. The answer is always JACKIEEEE!!! Jackie wins without weapons easily. This is nothing for him. He is best!

Aysun loves Jackie!

First off I love Jackie and Jet. Second Everytime Jet is fighting he is always so focused. Jackie throws a lot of laughs in with his fighting so it doesn't seem like he's that focused. Third Jackie uses a lot of weapons and things when he is fighting, so it's rare to see him by himself. If it's in the middle of the street, no weapons, I think it would be close, but I think it's Jet Li. But Bruce would jack them both up, he was the best and nobody has ever come close to him.

I want you to go itno that bag and find my wallet.

The focus is Jackie! And his comedy with fight is a focus too!

You think wrong. Jet never beats Jackie, because he is not best as Jackie! Besides, you say "Jackie always uses weapons" but you're forgeting that your 'dear' Jet always uses wires. If he doesn't have any wire, he can't fight as he does with wires!

As I said before, "Jackie wins against everyone. Even against Bruce Lee!

Bruce Lee is trained in Chinese Gung Fu (which i believed he made, not positive) and he knows alot of styles of chinese fighting

Jackie Chan was trained in traditional Chinese arts of performing, singing, acting, and especially acrobatic and martial arts. Any number of traditional Chinese martial arts were taught, along with weaponry, stick fighting and the like. BUT MOSTLY FOR ACTING IN CHINESE PLAYS.....also Chan is more of a comic fighter while Bruce Lee is a serious fighter

i love Jackie Chan movies very much, but Bruce lee would kick the living crap out of Jackie

i dont know much about jet li, but Bruce Lee is the best action star to date.

Bruce Lee could beat both people in fighting but if it was between jackie and jet i know that jet would win because jackie chan always uses objects to fight and if you see the outtakes of his movies he maked tons of mistaked and could never do some of that stuff in real life. But i cant diss him to muck because he does do all his own stunts.

Honestly... He can (And has in the past)defend himself if needed in a street brawl, but what you see on screen with JAckie is PURELY for ENTERTAINMENT. It is carefully choreogrphed to have a style and beat to it as if it were dancing. In fact on most Jackie Chan Stunt Team T-shirts you will see the chinese characters for Martial Arts and Dance. Jackie Chanhas said that he loves action but does not like violence. You can't judge how he would do in a fight by what he does on screen because no one has seen him REALLY fight. He has told stories of fights when he was younger though!(I seem to remember someone's TOOTH ending up embedded in Jackie's fist...Jackie thought it was his hand bone and kept trying to push it back in!!!)

All Of these posts really anger me. First off, in reply to Jackie Chan rarely fighting without a weapon, i beg to differ..... Yeah i'm a loser and a Jackie Chan freak. Two words.... "Drunken Master". I could add more, such as Fearless Hyena, Snake In Eagles Shadow and Master With Cracked Fingers. He hardly used any weapons, pure skill and acrobatic genius. Drunken Master is by far what made him famous. Sure there's the classic, Rumble In The Bronx, that probably started off most of you into loving Jackie, as it did I. And by saying Jackie adds humor into his fighting and isn't focused, you gotta be kidding me. With his spectacular style and moves, i want somebody to go up against him and see if he isn't focused, cuz he most certainly is. It's all movie effects and what you are focusing on are how he handles his business in the movies. And to defend Jet.... He uses wire? Once again another theartrical special effect. Jet Li, Jackie Chan in an actual street fight, no movie special effects or weapons would be a rather interesting fight. They both have different styles and i don't think in a fight against Jet, Jackie would end up naked and running down the street in a comedic crowd pleaser or Jet would float in the air for half a minute kickin at Jackie. See it's all theatrics and as far as who would win, I gotta go with Jackie cuz he has sooo much more experience than Jet, but Jet is younger....er and he was in tournaments. Hmmmmm, i'm kind of unsure on the outcome, cuz it's really hard to choose unless it actually happens. But i gotta stick with Jackie..... or maybe they'll just stop in the middle of the fight and have a cup of tea and nobody would win. God i don't know, i'm undecided!!!!

You are not far off FroFu..Jackie and Jet ARE friends and so they would not fight anyway! HA! I'd love to be sitting at the same table with them as they shared that pot of tea to be able to hear them discuss film making and all the people they have worked with *(and they have worked with a lot of the same people!) Would be fun to hear Jackie and Jet compare their first forrays into Hollywood too! LOL

Like the dude Lcem said before me, they're friends and have no real need to fight. I also wouldn't mind sharing a cup of tea with them. If they ever did fight, I would say Jet li, but personally I would have to say Jackie, but to be honest this is a fight you have to wait till the end, until it's over to who's the winner. I'm confused cause this is a very interesting fight, like I said this is a fight you have to wait until the very end to see who's the winner. Jackie always wins? That's your answer, if you've seen Jackie Chan's The Prisoner, he actually got killed at the end. So sad, made me angry.

And who ever said Jackie always uses a weapon, really isn't a true Jackie fan, like someone said before, he's played in earlier movies where he hardly even uses a weapon, like Drunken Master, Fearless Hyena, which he was kicking ass, the brawl, cracking fingers. So there, but to be honest Bruce Lee would kick both their butts, cause he was The Man. That's just my opinion though, Jackie and Jet totally rock.
