'Clint' tells us you probably won't be seeing a "Grease 3" film coming to the big screen any time soon.

"'N SYNC star Lance Bass recently announced they were developing Grease 3. "In the version we were working on, (*NSync members) were going to play the T-Birds and Britney (Spears) was going to play the female lead," says Bass, whose film company would produce the romantic musical comedy. In a weird move, it wasn't Spears' boyfriend Justin Timberlake who was slated to play her on-screen love interest, but J.C. Chasez. "The way we were writing it, we all had really cool parts. "What put Grease 3 on the backburner was we discovered so many people own the rights to different things. One person owns the name and somebody else one owns the T-Birds and still another person owns the music. So, eventually no one really wanted to deal with it. "It was proving too much of a hassle, but I think we'll definitely take another look at getting it made."
