"MK3" still underway with Christopher Lambert?

It's been quite some time since any news has surfaced regarding the status of "Mortal Kombat: Domination," but according to some unofficial sources the movie is apparently still a go.

While more and more actors are signing on for the next installment (the majority of which are unknown/stunt actors) there was some speculation as to whether or not Christopher Lambert ("Highlander," "Mortal Kombat") would reprise his role as Rayden. As nothing is yet confirmed to be official, IMDB has listed the actor as cast. It is also stated at IMDB that Director John R. Leonetti ("Mortal Kombat: Annihilation") will helm the film.

"Mortal Kombat: Domination" is in pre-production and is being targeted for a 2004 release.

tHE NEXT MORTAL KOMBAT MOVIE SHOULD OWESOME BECAUSE THE SECOND MOVIE WAS OWESOME AND I BET THE THIRD ONE WOULD BE COOL.
