Possibly. IMDB has now listed actor/martial artist Daniel Southworth ("Power Rangers Time Force," "V.I.P.") as Kenshi.

Kenshi, who most recently appears in video game Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance is a blind combatant who's weapon is the Katana, a long sword used by samurai. Little information is known about the character thus far. There is also no indication whether or not the Kenshi from "Deadly Alliance" will be anything like the character used in the film.
